The music is "Jersey Bounce" by Benny Goodman, who played at the Brant Inn. @chch_morninglive Adventure Reporter, @emilykvukovic , debuted a sampling of some fun dances created by danceScape for "An Evening at the Brant Inn" - the "Lancaster" and the "Emily" (named after Emily, if course, for being such a great sport in learning some moves in literally less than 45 seconds!). danceScape is pleased to once again be an Event partner for "An Evening at the Brant Inn" fundraiser organized by the @museumsburlon. This year, it will be held for the first time at the @marquisgardensevents at the Waterfront Hotel in downtown Burlington, Saturday, June 22nd. Emily spoke to Miriam Martens, Public Programs Coordinator, who spoke about the legacy of the Brant Inn and this feature fundraising event for the museum. Did you know Marilyn Monroe as well as Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald came to the Brant Inn. As well as Benny Goodman, Guy Lombardo, Duke Ellington, Count Basie Sophie Tucker and Johnny Matthis. These were the Michael Buble, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé of the 1940s, 50s and 60s! Samba Bootcamp - This fun 2 week bootcamp (90 minutes per class, with mini break) with Instructor Valeriia at danceScape will focus on enhancing leg and hip actions, as well as the application of arm styling.
