Thanks to the Milton Concert Band (MCB) Swing Ensemble for performing at dance @ the Waterfront: Celebrate the Brant Inn with danceScape.
Drawn from the non-profit, community based, Milton Concert Band, the MCB Swing Ensemble consists of a 16 piece band (saxes, trumpets, trombones, piano, drums, bass, and guitar) and 1 female singer.
Under Musical Director Mel Prout, this enthusiastic group of community musicians has perfected an eclectic repertoire that showcases the best of the Swing Era, and enough Jazz, Blues, and early Rock and Roll to make them an audience favourite at community events and dances in and around Milton, Ontario.
