Join danceScape’s Social Dance Club! Experience the hospitality of Robert Tang & Beverley Cayton-Tang and their team at various fun Social Dancing and Entertainment events and venues throughout the Burlington, Hamilton, Milton, Oakville, Waterdown, Flamborough, and Niagara areas.
Monday Night Practices
Up to 80% of what you learn in a given day is forgotten! That’s why it is so important to practice within 24 hours to reinforce your new skills. danceScape offers practices every Monday from 8 to 9 p.m. ($5.00 pp for currently registered students & alumni) in the Main Ballroom. Although this is independent practice time, Instructors are available to help tutor and assist in helping you recall and learn as quickly as possible. Plus, there are many wonderful coffee shops and dining establishments within walking distance of our downtown Burlington location!
Practice Parties
danceScape organizes fun Practice Parties at our downtown Burlington location, where you can start putting to practice what you have learned during the term in a supportive and empathetic atmosphere. Instructors are available to help you at any time during the party. This helps you in preparing to dance at other social events outside of the studio … whether cruises, gala fundraisers, weddings, or Salsa/Latin clubs.
Special Events
danceScape partners with other groups and organizations that host other Social Dance events. Or, if you hear about an upcoming event and would like us to try to form tables of other danceScape members and students, feel free to let us know! Past events have included: Milton Salsa/Latin Fridays, Dancing at the Downtown Burlington Waterfront, Country Western Dance Night, and Gala Evening of Dance.
Open Houses
danceScape organizes free Open Houses, Information Seminars, Guest Speakers and Lessons three to four times a year (September, January, May, and December).
