❤️ Home Is the People Who Walk Beside You Stories from the Ballroom As Paty built a new life in Canada, something slowly began to change. Through music. Through movement. Through community. Life began to feel warmer again. She realized something important: Home is not only a place. Sometimes... home is the people who walk beside you. This episode is celebrated through Cumbia. Although Cumbia originated in Colombia, it has been embraced across Mexico for generations. Today, it is danced at family gatherings, weddings, neighbourhood celebrations, and community festivals. For many families, Cumbia isn't learned in a dance studio. It is learned by watching. By joining in. By dancing together. In this episode, that tradition comes to life across four generations. Clemencia, the family's great-grandmother, shares the dance with both her grandson Javier and her great-grandson Giancarlo.
