danceScape supporting Local Social Dance Adventures, this one again at the Burlington Legion (Branch 60), Sunday, Nov. 19th, 7-10 pm. Thanks so much to DJ Jan, Linda, Kim and their Volunteer Staff for the warm and gracious hospitality and recognition of danceScape Students and Alumni during the dance. We know how much work goes into creating and organizing local social events such as these, congrats to all! Great to see Private Lesson students starting to come out with Group Class students for these fun "Social Dance" crawls! The Burlington Legion hosts these weekly Sunday Socials from 7 to 9 pm, $12 pp. Their Mission is to serve our Veterans, which includes serving Military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance and to serve our communities and our country. Although Robert, Beverley and Valeriia are not always able to attend, please connect with them and we can always organize another group get-together at this and other local events. This fun 2 week bootcamp (90 minutes per class, with mini break) will focus on enhancing leg and hip actions, as well as the application of arm styling. The session will also cover specific dance steps, such as Bota Fogo and Voltas. Originally from Montreal, Valeriia has danced competitively for more than 15 years and has over 8 years of teaching.
