Book Launch of Beach Blues with Author, John Lawrence Reynolds 📚 Celebrating John’s Remarkable Journey 🎉 A wonderful book launch at A Different Drummer Books in downtown Burlington to celebrate the incredible achievements of John, a true Renaissance man! From music, advertising, filmmaking, and broadcasting to playwriting, John has done it all. He has authored or coauthored more than 30 books, a National Business Book Award winner, and has been hailed by the National Post as Canada’s best and busiest ghostwriter. Beach Blues is the third book in John's acclaimed "Beach Series". Not only that, as we soon celebrate danceScape's 25th Anniversary this Fall, it was 25 years ago that John wrote "Ballroom Dancing: Romance, Rhythm & Style", during the time when Ballroom was lobbying to be in the Olympics. 25 years later, it wasn't Ballroom that made the Olympics, but that "Break Dancing" will make its debut at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games! It was so wonderful to suprise and see John and his beautiful wife, Judy! Plus another surprise to see Reg & Louise, who were one of our early group students when we first turned professional and launched danceScape! Somewhere in our video collection is the original book launch we did with John at Indigo Bookstores in Burlington and Toronto! 🌟 John’s impressive accolades include: Three Arthur Ellis Awards 🏆 Editor and co-author of memoirs for notable Canadians including Shark Tank panelist Robert Herjavec, Justin Trudeau 📚 Creator of the riveting Beach Trilogy Series 📖 Owner of A Different Drummer Books, Ian Elliot, honored John’s literary prowess and his unwavering support for his bookstore, a cherished local institution.
